Finland
Finland is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It covers the northern part of the Scandinavian Peninsula, the Gulf of Bothnia islands, and the Åland Islands. The land area is about 338,000 square kilometres. It borders Sweden to the west, Norway to the north, and Russia to the east. Estonia lies across the Gulf of Finland to the south. The population is about 5.6 million.
