Hiked 10.8 kilometres from Diemen to Weesp.

The Westerbork path slowly leaves the crowds of the Amsterdam region and makes way for more nature. You walk through the Gaasperpark and along the Gaasp, one of the most beautiful waters just outside Amsterdam. Until you walk to Weesp, the fortified city on the Vecht and city of mills and cacao.

Railway bridge

This bridge was the first one built in 1973. It was designed by K. van der Gaast (1923-1993). In 1995, they doubled the tracks and built an identical bridge on the north side. This bridge has been welded, and the older one sounds different. There is also a bicycle bridge on the north side. Which I used to cross the canal.
