Veluwe Wander Trail part 10

Hiked part 10/25 of the Veluwe Wander Trail, 7.7 kilometres from Elspeet to Vierhouten.

From Elspeet you walk past thatched-roof farms and green pastures before entering the vast Elspeetsche Heide, one of the largest heathlands on the Veluwe. Sandy trails wind through the open landscape of heather, dried grasses, and solitary pines and birches, with sweeping views in every direction. After crossing the undulating heath, the route leads through forest to the quiet village of Vierhouten.
