This verse, a favourite among many, reminds us that God has great plans for us, even when things get tough. It’s a comforting thought that His goals for us are always about hope and healing, and it encourages us to trust Him even when we’re going through tough times. These words give us strength and remind us of God’s unwavering love.

What I Loved

Jeremiah’s call in chapter 1 always gets me. When God chooses him, saying “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee” (Jeremiah 1:5). This is a really cool revelation about God’s plan for us. Even though Jeremiah was a bit hesitant, God gave him the courage and words he needed. It’s so personal—it shows how well God knows us and how he can use even the most reluctant people for his glory. It makes me want to follow my own calling and trust God’s strength to overcome my weaknesses.
