Tonight is TobyMac's 2010 album, the follow up to Portable Sounds and a fresh run at his blend of hip hop, pop, and rock. He has long mixed beats with bright melody, and here the result is glossy and warm at once. The theme is hope held onto through hard nights, and the energy of it caught my ear straight away.
