Hiking from Rijsoord to Krimpen aan den IJssel (16.06 km).
Along the Waal and past wheels with names such as Kattenwiel and Oosteromse Wiel, and close to busy traffic junctions, you will come to the Kinderdijk windmill complex, which UNESCO has designated as a world heritage site as 'proof of human ingenuity in draining and protecting the land'.
