Hiking from Tiel to Dodewaard (24.60 km).

On this stage you follow the Waal, about which Nijhof said in a poem: ‘My head full of the landscape far and wide’. Over the dike you walk past IJzendoorn and Ochten, about which a folk rhyme says: ‘Tiel is a city, Echteld a hole, IJzendoorn a pool of water and Ochten is a king’s chair’.
