The Swift Programming Language book (TSPL) is now published using Swift-DocC starting with Swift 5.8, enabling content contributions under the Swift Documentation Workgroup’s guidance.
Since its open-source release in August 2022, over 50 pull requests have been merged, and DocC has been enhanced with features like improved navigation and automatic see-also section control, benefiting other narrative-driven documentation.
Contributors can add content by addressing GitHub issues or Swift Evolution proposals, support translations using the same pipeline, or improve DocC for long-form content like interactive or offline features.
